“ Children are bombarded with cheap, unhealthy food which often includes a toy…Some grow up not knowing a parsnip from a carrot. We are changing all that” says Chef Marco Kouch, who has established Cool Kids Cooking as an after- school activity program held at various schools around Auckland.

Marco is a forty year old Chef and father of two.

He set up Cool Kids Cooking in an attempt to, in his own way, put his skills to work to help combat the unhealthy eating practices that are alarmingly commonplace in many schools anMarcod family homes in our communities.

Great with kids himself, Marco’s classes captivate and inspire children at his after school programs.

A TV show coming up in May, a recipe book and a quarterly magazine are already in the works as a spin off of the after school workshops.

He lives in Auckland and has been in New Zealand since 1991.
